More information about MVI Medical Missions.

Medical missions is a ministry of holism. Jesus commands us to heal the sick while we are carrying the Good News (Matt. 10:8; Lk 10:9). Through the relief of physical suffering mankind can be ministered to holistically (in body, mind and spirit). This was the method of Jesus (Mk. 1:34; Lk. 5:15), the Disciples (Lk. 10:9), the Apostles (Acts 3:1-10), the early Church and Christian missions since the beginning. Much of the world would not have hospitals, medical and nursing schools, sanitation, immunization, nutrition and healthcare workers if medical missionaries had not been sent out. So much has been done yet so much remains to be done. Medical missionaries can minister to those who suffer through therapy, surgery and dentistry. Medical missionaries can render care in hospitals, rural clinics or under a large tree in a remote village. Medical missions is a loving ministry to the physical suffering of mankind whereby the mind and spirit of mankind can be reached and redeemed by the Gospel of Jesus.

MVI medical missions endeavors to share the good news of the gospel and meet the spiritual needs by being the visible and loving hands of Christ. Medical, dental and surgical teams travel and work in various parts of the world rendering care and proclaiming the Good News. If you would like to join one of our teams, we would be delighted to have you join us. We welcome your interest in short-term teams or longer term service on the mission field.
